Course Description
The Fifth Annual Practical Orthopedics for Primary Care conference will focus on the diagnostic examination and pertinent treatments for common everyday orthopedic conditions. This day long conference will offer a small group hands-on breakout session designated to educate providers on appropriate casting, splinting and bracing techniques of the upper and lower extremities. In addition, there will be a special one-hour session designated to review appropriate imaging of common orthopedic conditions.The course presentation faculty features the orthopedic surgeon specialists of Twin Cities Orthopedics. They will provide their diagnostic and therapeutic approach to these common orthopedic disorders and injuries through real case presentations, with plenty of time allotted for participant’s questions.
Course Objectives
Following the conference, participants will be able to:- More readily diagnose and treat common orthopedic disorders and injuries.
- Avoid common mistakes and complications in the treatment of common orthopedic disorders and injuries in adults.
- Review and become familiar with appropriate imaging of common orthopedic conditions.
- Become familiar with pertinent casting, bracing and splinting techniques for common orthopedic conditions.
